Sulfadimethoxine Oral 12.5% Gallon

Sulfadimethoxine 12.5% Oral Solution A broad-spectrum antibacterial oral solution to be supplied in drinking water that will control a variety of diseases.

Broiler and Replacement Chickens: Use for the treatment of disease outbreaks of coccidiosis, fowl cholera, and infectious coryza. Add 1 fl oz to 2 gallons of drinking water or 25 fl oz to 50 gallons of drinking water. Treat for 6 consecutive days. Provide medicated water as the sole source of drinking water. Do not slaughter within 5 days of last treatment. Do not administer to chickens over 16 weeks (112 days) of age.

Meat Producing Turkeys: Use for the treatment of disease outbreaks of coccidiosis and fowl cholera. Add 1 fl oz to 4 gallons of drinking water or 25 fl oz to 100 gallons of drinking water. Treat for 6 consecutive days. Provide medicated water as the sole source of drinking water. Do not slaughter within 5 days of last treatment. Do not administer to turkeys over 24 weeks (168 days) of age.

Dairy Calves, Dairy Heifers and Beef Cattle: Use for the treatment of shipping fever complex, and bacterial pneumonia associated with Pasteurella spp. sensitive to sulfadimethoxine; and calf diphtheria and foot rot associated with Fusobacterium necrophorum sensitive to sulfadimethoxine. On the first day of treatment, mix 1 gallon of Sulfadimethoxine 12.5% with 200 gallons of drinking water. On days 2-5, mix 1 gallon of Sulfadimethoxine 12.5% with 400 gallons of drinking water. For individual treatment of cattle, Sulfadimethoxine 12.5% Oral Solution may be given as a drench. Administer using an initial dose of 1 oz. per 150 lbs followed by 4 maintenance doses of 0.5 fl oz per 150lbs per day. Do not slaughter within 7 days of last treatment.
