Osphos is a sterile injectable solution specifically designed for horses, containing 60mg/ml of clodronate sodium in a 15ml vial. It is primarily used to alleviate the symptoms associated with navicular syndrome, a challenging condition to manage. Veterinarians may prescribe Osphos when radiographic evidence indicates bony changes in the affected horse.
