Lincomycin Hydrochloride Soluble Powder
Available in 80gm, 160gm, or 480gm packets.
For oral use in swine and broiler chickens only.
For Swine:
Lincomycin soluble antibiotic powder is an effective treatment for swine dysentery (also known as bloody scours) delivered via drinking water system. Lincomycin should be administered for at least 5 days, with a 10 day maximum treatment. Administration: One (1) 80 gram packet will medicate 128 gallons of drinking water.
Warnings: No drug withdrawal period is required before slaughter
Broiler Chickens:
LinxMed-SP Soluble Powder is indicated for the control of necrotic enteritis caused by Clostridium perfringens susceptible to lincomycin. Lincomycin should be administered for 7 days.
Administration: One (1) 80 gram packet will medicate 500 gallons of drinking water.
Note: After water medication is discontinued, a recommended control program for necrotic enteritis consists of feeding lincomycin premix at 2 grams lincomycin per ton of complete feed.
No meat withdrawal or egg discard is required.
