Excede cattle is used for the treatment of acute metritis, Bovine Respiratory Disease, and foot-rot in cattle. Administer as a subcutaneous injection at the base of the ear where it attaches to the head at the dosage of 1.5 mL per 100#. Repeat this dose in the opposite ear approximately 72 hours following the initial dose. 13 day meat withdrawal.

Excede can also be administered for the treatment of lower respiratory tract infections in horses caused by susceptible strains of Streptococcus equi subspecies zooepidemicus (S. zooepidemicus). Administer two intramuscular injections to the horse, four days apart, at a dose of 1.5 mL per 100 pounds of body weight. A maximum of 10 mL per injection site may be administered.
