Broad-spectrum Cefenil® RTU is the industry’s first generic, ready-to-use, veterinary-prescription, ceftiofur hydrochloride injectable. Its low viscosity simplifies syringing compared to Excenel® RTU EZ, a sterile suspension of ceftiofur hydrochloride.

Key features and uses include:

• Acts as a broad-spectrum cephalosporin antibiotic
• Effective in treating bovine respiratory disease (BRD), foot rot, and acute metritis
• Provides a short withdrawal period of 3 days in cattle, with no milk discard time required
• Conveniently fits into existing treatment protocols:Also applicable for treating swine respiratory disease (SRD), with a withdrawal period of 4 days in swine
  • Suitable for lactating dairy cows, with no need for milk discard
