Banamine Transdermal

Banamine Transdermal is the first FDA-approved pour-on solution for managing pain and fever in cattle. This innovative approach involves applying the medication topically, effectively reducing fever caused by bovine respiratory disease (BRD) or acute mastitis, and alleviating pain from foot rot.

This pour-on solution offers rapid relief, swiftly controlling pain and fever in affected cattle. Its simple application process makes treatment quick and straightforward, without the need for needles. This not only minimizes handling but also reduces stress on the animals, contributing to their well-being. Moreover, the pour-on application eliminates the risk of injection-site lesions, making it particularly cattle-friendly.

By utilizing Banamine Transdermal, cattle owners can effectively manage pain and fever, preventing potential issues such as decreased feed intake. This FDA-approved solution is specifically designed to address fever associated with BRD and acute mastitis, as well as pain linked to foot rot. It stands out as the sole non-steroidal anti-inflammatory (NSAID) product for cattle with a convenient pour-on administration route.

How to use:

1. The pre-calibrated packaging helps ensure the right dose is given every time. Determine the animal’s body weight and select the correct dose using the bottle’s dosing chamber, which is calibrated in pounds of body weight. BANAMINE TRANSDERMAL is labeled to be administered once at a dose of 3 mL per 100 pounds on dry skin.

2. On first use, remove the cap and peelable seal from the dosing chamber. Do not remove the cap from the storage bottle.

3. Hold the bottle upright and at eye level while slowly and gently squeezing the bottle to fill the dosing chamber to the selected mark.

4.Pour the measured volume on the midline of the animal’s back extending from the withers to tail head. Localized application to smaller areas should be avoided.
